When are you suppose to return a completed packets 3&4 back to the embassy?? My fiancee has finished hers and we are wondering when we should return it back to them. Any advice please !!!

I would recommend returning it well before the expiration date on the NOA-2 if it is late and the petition expires then you will be starting the petition all over again. It is always recommended to not delay when returning Packet 3.

all documentation is turned in when you get to the interview if I am not mistaken.. remind your fiance not to sign the form until she is in front of the CO because they have to witness her sign it. She can complete it before hand, she is also not to open any envelopes she is given although they will probably give her a copy of her medical form though

In Ghana you return packet 3 (forms filled in and checklist signed saying you have gathered the police report, birth cert, and other docuemtns) and then they give you packet 4, which includes medicals info, the DS-156 forms, and the appointment date letter. You bring the things from packet 4 (filled in) to the interview appointment.

Not sure how it works in Nigeria, but I'm sure you need to turn somethign in to get an interview date. Good luck!

yes, i agree with felshen. all documentation is to be turned in when your fiancee goes to the interview. however, she shouldn't sign any of the documentation until she is in front of the CO.
