in filing for I-130, is cover letter needed or can i justfile without it?

i never used one and i didnt use tabs either.. its up to you... they just take it all apart anyways.

It isn't required, but it's helpful for organizing the contents of the package.

I used a cover letter and I bulleted everything that was included in the packet. Make sure everything is signed, checked off, and in order. They are so particular in this. I missed a one question (it was hard to even see it) and they sent it back. Double check your work. Good luck.

I never used a cover letter and my interview is scheduled for December. Maybe it helps, but I don't think it's absolutely necessary!
