I checked with NVC again today, and they say they still have not received my petition.
I have been in contact with my congressman's office and he got some information that it was sent to NVC on October 4th, and that my 2-4 week waiting period begins then.
I came back to Ukraine to finish the wait with my fiancee', and now it looks like I'm gonna be here awhile. (That's nobodys fault but mine, but they did say it would be forwarded within 4 weeks, and I gave them seven before I left to come here because I thought that would be more than enough time!)
I had seen in another post that mrc had faxed his NOA2 and had good luck with that, but I've done that twice now and still no love. sad.gif
Sooooo...wtf?!?! Is anybody with an early september approval still waiting like me? What do you do? Is there really no help in this situation?

My petition was approved in april and NVC lost my papers... We contact the congressman but as i thought it didnt help, not even a little bit. It took 3 months to NVC send my petition to the embassy here in Brasil.

Bryan came here to stay with me until the end of this process.

First, NVC never got the papers (i think CSC never send like they were supposed to do), so we had to fill out another form and pay to CSC re-send the petition and we got a letter saying our request was denied because of something really stupid (i dont remember what it was, but i remember it was something really stupid) and bryan got so mad...

From space, we got another approval email and then the things started to work...

So keep calling, keep checking, keep in touch with the congressman, dont let they lose your papers and play the same game with you.

It's their job to do this, its not a favor to us.

Fingers crossed for youuuuuuuuuu

hugs from Brasil

Great. Glad they received your case. They received my case on the 23 and it's already at the Seoul Embassy. Things should go quickly now. When I faxed over my NOA2 to them, I also included a letter thanking the NVC rep for going out of her way to help me. It adds a personal touch and usually customer reps want to continue to try to help you, even when they don't have to. I think that helped a little.

As a rule, they treat whites better..thats why most of those complaining of delays are not bringing people from white countries. Thats just how USCIS/NVC/USA works, sorry.

Congrats a1cpat! You've waited long enough.

Hey mrc, not being a smart ### here--really I'm not--but your listed country for your SO is Philipines and yet your petition was fowarded over to the Seoul Embassy? Hmm.. something doesn't sound right to me. What gives?

My girl is living in Korea but she's from the PI. So, she'll go through her interview in Seoul.

I'd like to see you back up your stereotypes with actual numbers. That sounds like a load of B.S. to me. I'm sure a lot of people trying to sponsor people from Russia would disagree with you.

Ask a1cpat...his fiance is from Ukraine and he's been waiting since Sept. 11 for the NVC to get his case and he originally filed in Feb.

There is no place for unfounded comments like this. Everyone of us is nothing more than a case number to the low paid workers in the NVC and USCIC. I would like to see stats on your emotional claim. I am sure there are many couples here that feel they are not getting enough attention when their case are not moving or taking WAY too long. The issue is the process and not the individuals working it. Like me, there are many here with a fiance/e that is non white and I do not feel we have been treated any less or better than anyone here. It seems we all get the same "not my problem" attitude. JMHO, Payato

Matako-seriously...nobody likes you. Stop posting on this forum. I feel really bad that you were approved, and I wish upon you many months of administrative review at the NVC.

That is not true - I am from Germany and believe me, those things can also happen to people from "white countries". We got the NOA2 on 15th of September and it took 5 weeks to transfer it to the NVC. The NVC got it very late. We called the NVC and they told us that it can take another 4-6 weeks until they send everything to the embassy. Everythings takes very long in our case and I do not know why.

When I see the timelimes of other members, then it never took so long for them. I am really frustrated, because I do not want to wait anymore. unsure.gif We startet that whole process in the beginning of March 2006 and I have not seen my boyfriend since then crying.gif ....Did somebody make similar experiences??? helpsmilie.gif

I agree, Matako isn't the brightest bulb in the string. Though, I wouldn't wish AR on anyone. That would bring bad karma.

I have the moron on ignore. the only time I see his or her posts is when another poster quotes from his messages. Otherwise I don't have to see his/her BS. I'd suggest everyone else put him on ignore as well.

NOT harsh - Matako/Majzlee is a TROLL. There is no "fiance" (first, from Ukraine. Then with the name change, the "fiance" was from Mozambique).

Everyone should put Matako on IGNORE and certainly not defend his posts.

you are right mrc. I shouldnt say things like that for fear of giving myself further bad luck in this whole process. I am just really sick of that guy showing up and ruining threads that could be helpful for other people.
Thanks for agreeing with me KitKat....Matako/Majizee is a troll. I am going to take everyone's advice and add him to the ignore list.

I read ignorant posts like this one and wonder why people like this want to come to the US at all, or if they're the USC, why they would subject their poor spouse to this horrible place they have such contempt for.

I'm sure I'll get a lot of thrashing for this, but I'm really sick of people coming to VJ (of all places) and talking trash about my country, imperfect as it is. If you think we're so terrible, why don't the two of you pack off to Mozambique (or wherever your alleged partner is from) instead?

*silence*

Yeah, I thought so.
