Hello,
I want to know if it is absolutely necessary to have a picture of the married couple (K-3) during the embassy interview or other evidence will suffice. I have bunch of other information (E-mails, greeting cards, money transfer receipts, letters through snail mail, phone records etc), but no pics. Will this be a problem.
Any comments will be highly appreciated.

I could be wrong but I think that you need the pics to prove that you met it person. My computer crashed with our first set of pics lost forever inside the hard drive so I went to Nigeria again so that we would have pics. That was on the advice from my lawyer.

Thanks a lot, that helps....

I think that if you had some kind of proof (i.e. plane ticket stubs) or something else that would suffice. Obviously if you are doing a K3 and you have gotten married while being in your SO's country you must have met. I don't know of too many places where you can get married without ever seeing the person you are getting married to. I think that pictures definetely strengthen the case immensely and it might be much more difficult to prove you have a valid relationship without at least 1 or 2 pictures.

Looks like it's very important to have pictures at the Lagos embassy. Read this thread from the Foreign Embassy forum:
