I am going to be able to apply for citizenship in another 2.5 years. At that time, it looks like we may want to bring my parents over and my Grandmother.
I have looked on the USCIS site, but all I can see suggests that I would have to get my parents over, then wait 5 years for them to get citizenship, then have them apply for my grandmother... is that correct?
It just seems wrong, since I know of families from other countries where 2 generations seem to come over at the same time...
Can anyone point me in the right direction to understand this issue better?
Thank you!

You can not apply for a grandmother, something for your parents to do.
But how would you adddress the medical issue with a grandmother? Pretty much knocks it out.

The situation that you describe is correct... your parents are avialble as an immediate relative and have an visa number available... your grandmother would have to wait until your parents become citizens and then they can petition for her to come over.
