Yes, it takes about 2-4 weeks to review DS 230 and I-864 packet.

I don't think it would take longer to review I-864 than I-864 EZ.

according to soulm8z0928, his only took a week for his I-864EZ. he checked his case yesterday. i'm hoping the same thing. i'll be checking today. you must talk to an operator. i don't think it will be on the automated service info

hi

i just spoke to a live operator , according to him EZ is still being reviewed..It will take 2-4 wks.She also told me that EZ takes the same amount of time as others, no difference

Thanks

about 2 to 4 weeks but the average is 3 weeks and couple days i think . but its getting longer lately.

yes, mine took only 1 week, if what the operator told me was correct. she definitely said "it has been reviewed and everything is ok", so i took that to mean it's finished. but mine was pretty straightforward, i was well over the 125% level and used just my salary and I-864EZ. so no other documents were required, just letter of employment and tax transcript. i hope you all have just as speedy an approval as i did.

hey soulm8z0928, wifey checked yesterday but ours haven't been reviewed yet, just received. was hoping to get same result as you. oh well, i just want the case to be forwarded already so that i can fly to see wifey.

i noticed the average is about 2 weeks for I-864 and a month for DS-230 - using james shortcut

exactly! we don't mind waiting for the process to complete, just don't want any unnecessary delays, and from what i've seen, on cr-1/ir-1 the i-864 was the most likely thing 2 get an rfe on.

ok, wifey called NVC this morning and got more clarification. according to NVC rep, she says that our I-864 was "reviewed and does not require additional information". further, NVC does not make the decision whether the I-864 is approved or not, it is the spouse's embassy that will determine that once the case has been forwarded. so in soulm8z0928 and my case, it would be the manila embassy. it may be the same for other embassy as well.

so now, just gotta wait for IV bill to be processed and the DS-230 to be generated so i can send it. a small relief since i know my part of the paperwork is complete whistling.gif

My I-864 was received and reviewed in 3 weeks...the same with the DS-230 and they were sent a week apart.
