We should have a yahoo group for the Jordan gals...we seem to get lost in the mix on this board. All the other nationalities have groups...what you gals think?

There's an egyptian wives group on yahoo but they wouldn't let me join because I don't know anyone there who would give me a reference.

I know someone thru another forum who is supposedly friends with the moderator of one of the closed groups for egyptian wives. She sent me the link and told the moderator that I was going to join . . . and i got turned down!! TWICE!! She verified my email address,etc then sent it back to her friend but it never did get approved. I am not sure what the deal is but I decided not to worry about it too much.

I'm down!

I was in the Egyptian wives group on YAHOO for a while and beleive me, you are not missing anything. There was more backbiting in that group than on VJ if you can beleive that! I was a member for MAYBE a month and requested to be taken off.

ETA: Jordan is special to me and a place I want to visit very badly in my lifetime because Shaykhal Albanee (may Allah bless him) spent the latter part of his life there and his school is there too (but I don't think that has anything to do with your group )

Jordan---is where I discovered the most caring, generous people I have ever met. They showered me with gifts of jewelry, clothes, and love. They shared their food and conversation with me. We discussed life and politics and religion.

Jordan--is where I saw ancient ruins, heard the athan and church bells, and saw goat herders chatting on their cell phones.

Jordan--is where my habibi learned his values and morals, and became the man that I fell in love with.
