For the Manila embassy, can anyone tell me based on his or her experience how soon after receipt of the K1 papers from the NVC the embassy turns around with a designated interview date? Seems like now I can check the interview date via the net at the embassy website.

well after my wife was documentarily qualified and the petition was sent to manila , she was qualified on jan 28th 2006 and had her interview on august 29th 2006, but it vary'ssometimes less but usually no more than 5 months from the time she is qualified mike ball ( mikeball12001@yahoo.com)

your put on the waiting list once your physical petition arrives at the Embassy. i heard the Embassy is saying up to 150 days. for us, it was 112 days.
