Full Version: Questions about Dr. Zirari Khadija
VisaJourney.com > General Discussion Area > Regional Discussion > Middle East and North Africa

For those of you who had your medical exam with Dr. Khadija (or if your spouse or fiance had the exam with her), what was your impression of the doctor? Do you feel like she was forthright and honest? Was she intimidating? Did she make you feel uneasy about the results she was sending to the consulate? Also, is the beneficiary allowed to have a copy of his/her results after the medical exam? I know in America patients have the right to know the results of their medical tests (albeit after jumping through a few hoops), is this also the case in other countries, namely Morocco?
noura
Yes, you should have a copy of the records, you will need them here (for AOS, I think). My honey didn't go to her cuz she was too busy the day he wanted to go. Najia did go to her, perhaps she'll see your post tomorrow after her interview. As always, best of luck!

Thank you smile.gif

Did he just get a copy of the vac recs, or was he allowed to see the whole report that was going to the consulate?
sarah and hicham
Hicham went to her. He said it was fine, and she was nice. She asked him questions about drugs and alcohol and he said no to both. She wouldn't give him anything before the interview but after he was able to get his vaccination record from her.

Have any of you that used her been from the EAST side of Maroc? One person told Omar that this woman is against people from the east coast and was rude with him citing that reason. However, his visa was denied so I figure maybe it's just an excuse. her prices are certainly lower than the others on the list, but Omar is thinking she may make problems. Any thoughts from those of you with experience?

Yeah I guess you are right...it isn't exactly a coast!!! no0pb.gif It may have just been an odd comment from someone who needed a reason why his visa wasn't approved, besides the real one.

That sounds more likely. good.gif

Abdel went to her and didn't have any problems. He's from Taza (northern Morocco) and had to travel 8 hours for the medical, but other than the running all over for the X-ray and going to the pharmacy for the stuff for the shots, and all of that stuff which appears to be normal in this process, he had no problems with her. He did comment that it seemed she was just in it for the money because they tried to schedule a second appointment for him to come back for a copy of his vacination report (which they could have then charged an office visit fee for) but he persisted and got it without having to pay.

He had to buy his own vaccination supplies? Good golly!! And why do they have to run all over for the xray? Is it a matter of finding a place to do it? should our fiances plan on an all day affair for their medical??
honeyblonde
Yes, they have to go to the pharmacy and get the shot stuff, and yes they have to go somewhere else for the x-ray, and yes, plan to take all day. This was really frustrating for Abdel because his sister insisted on going with him, and wherever she goes, her 10 year old son goes, even if it means he gets out of school, which I think is horrible but that's another story. Poor Abdel had to run all over with a whining, very spoiled, 10 year old and his sister in tow. I'm sure most people won't find it nearly as annoying as he did.
limah
I just asked my husband and he is going to her too. Both of his sisters that are here went to her too. They recommended it.

Othman had his medical with her on Oct. 31st. It was just like honeyblond said. Poor Othman was going here and there but he got through at 12:30. His appointment was at 8 am.

can someone please tell me what the AOS stands for? May sound silly but we are new at this.
Also, my husband is now ready to make his appointment for the doctor. He received his instructions in the mail. Typically, do moroccans have to schedule their appt with this woman doctor OR just show up and wait in line? How much is the doctor appt anyway? Dont they give you some proof of your appt to take to the interview or not? just wondering. blush.gif wacko.gif

good.gif okay i'll just answer myself since we finished the medical exam on March 29th
Traveling by car to Casablanca....if you survive driving a stick shift in this place you are LUCKY ohmy.gif
appointment was at 9, we were little late due to major traffic in the early morning AND not knowing exactly how to get there...street signs please...and asking anyone is like the blind leading the blind, none the less found the place and god knows I fully rely on my husband being it is his territory here...i just go where he tells me tongue.gif
the receptionist was a man and very friendly
laid back atmosphere, nice office
take all your info of course
passport, ID, passport pix, money
expect to be tied up with this appointment like 3 hours
first bloodwork payment for that which they dont tell you (upstairs in same office)
xrays..traveling to another location, nearby (payment required 40 Dirham)
bring back Xray results
vaccinations....travel again around the corner to retrieve and purchase your own vaccinations
when you return you are seen by the doctor finally
lucky for us we were like the 2nd persons there...no line, no major waiting at all, if more busy it would have been an all day affair
we definitely ate beforehand
after all was said and done, cost us near 1000 Dirham including travel expenses
we got the vaccination history on the spot
some vaccinations he could not even receive due to his age and it not being the proper season for it (like flu)
so the form says his record is incomplete
BUT it is incomplete for legitimate reasons as documented by the Dr...her name, oh god! the one that starts with the letter K..lol
get back to you on it
another step closer yes.gif
oh as far as her demeanor...tarik said she was just fine

Hi Sandrila,
Thank you for your post. My fiance has an appointment with this same doctor next month.
Just a quick question: Did your husband pay around 1,000 dirham total, including doctor visit? Or is the doctor visit a separate charge? i just want to give him a rough idea about how much to bring with him.

Thank you so much,
hz

sandrila
HZ
definitely tell him to bring little more than 1000...but honestly, it is not more than that
but always better to come more prepared
if he is traveling allow for train, bus or taxi there and back
good luck

I have a question but not about the medical. After the case has been sent to Casa, generally how long before they send packet 3 out and also does the packet have to be singed for by the receiver. I only ask this because my husband is not at home now, but working in a different city. He knows its coming but we are not sure if he needs to sign for it or if someone else can.

Thanks for any info!

Don't waste time being nervous about the medical. that was small potatoes. As long as he is honest about his medical history and doesn't have any of the medical conditions making him ineligible for the visa, easy peezey. Save up your worry for the interview. You'll need all you can get. tongue.gif Espeically if he gets the blonde
