Can I be self-employed when I am on EAD if I get one at the POE?

I do not see why not... Technically speaking though you are subject to the same restrictions as someone who is employed by another party....

if your applying for K1 visa there is a limit of 90 days u can enter after you enter the States...

the 90 days also applies to getting married then applying for AOS and EAD..

go to the guidelines..or FAQ there is alot about it in there also take a look at some of the posts in working an travelling thread...
