So, from the guidelines here it seems, if I understand it, that the Vancouver embassy doesn't expect (or perhaps even send) you to use the hard copies of the forms that come in Packet 3. Is this correct?

We have time yet, but would it be possible for me, the USC, to download and fill out the forms and mail them to my fiancé, so all he has to do is sign them? I'm basically wondering if there's a certain form or barcode or sticker that would preclude me prepping some of the forms for him.

The reason I'm asking: first he works out of town, and is usually only home two or three days out of a month and barely has time to do laundry, let alone paperwork. Would rather let him focus on getting the documentation he needs to get together, together. The second reason is, although I love him, he managed to fill out his birthdate incorrectly on the G-325A (we caught it) and I don't really trust him to fill out a whole form that I can't proofread.

So, could I download the forms and fill out everything but his signature and mail them to him? (Since I have to mail him all the other paperwork anyway.....)

The only form I got from them was the OF167 (is that the right number?). The rest they said to download.

Yup, the OF-167 Attachment (Sponsor's Financial Responsibility Under The Social Security Act) - your fiance just has to fill out his name, address, and your name, sex, age, country of birth, if you are married/single, and your relationship to sponsor, then sign it.

I would scan a copy of it for you to print and fill out for him, but I don't have a scanner!

Vancouver also sent me a hardcopy of I-134 but I just used the one online.

Everything else I filled out I got online.

Ya I just downloaded all of the forms and filled them out (they did send the I-134 as well but I didn't use the one they sent) ... The OF-167 is the only one that you can't seem to find online ... I was lucky as my fiancee was up visiting me a few weeks before my interview so I had her fill it out at my place ...

Good luck and don't worry Vancouver is excellent ...

Someone should really type out the OF-167 and keep it here as a document. It is just a typed page, no USCIS logo or anything.

I think Robin28 scanned it, but i don't think it scanned well or something. But that is the only thing that you need to use of theirs because you can't find it anywhere else. The rest can all be done before hand, there is no problem with generating the barcode or anything just as long as the information is current at the time of the interview. Good luck.

I think if you had all his information, there is no reason why you couldn't fill out the forms online, get the barcodes and then mail them to him for his signature.
