except Security if you have a whole buncha stuff they don't want in there. No backpacks, no briefcases, no food, no drinks (even if you're diabetic or pregnant, there's vending machines inside), no electronics (includes phones, CD players, MP3s...) No big photo albums, just takea few in an envelope. Take all your stuff in a plastic grocery shopping bag, and you should be fine.

Oh, they even confiscated my lip balm, huh.gif but they gave it back on my way out.

I thought Mtl was super back in DEc 2004. I put al my paperwork crap in an accordian style plastic case. had like 13 slots, worked great. You go through airport like security, they are very professional, take their jons seriously. Had 1 lady that worked behind the glass was a bit grumpy, but nothing that bad. All went well.

Montreal was great. The officer we had was really nice. Even answered some of our questions that we weren't sure they would take the time to do.

Take money for the ending machines if you are apt to get the muchies. It really was a piece of cake though.

Montreal was excellent to deal with....at least I thought so. smile.gif Check out the embassy/consulate reviews for Montreal for more details.

I had a good experience with Montreal. I asked the guard if I could pick up my visa after the time stated on my card and he said yes but gave me good advice as to what time would be best so there would be no waiting for me. It was very good advice because I was in and out of there in less than 4 minutes.
Also, I had no problems with getting my email inquiries answered although some people have reported that theirs weren't answered. The interview was also a pleasant experience.

When did they suggest you pick up the visa?
