Just here in DZ...chilling, cooking, baking, entertaining all the crazy people coming in and out of my home (hmmm well I should be nice and call them my guests)...

Doing alot of cleaning, to get ready for Eid... I am not sure what I am getting ready for... but they say something big (inchallah)...

Missing all my friends ... Trying to talk my husband into taking me on a shopping spreee (YEA!!!) in Blida and Ain Benian... where the huge bazaars are... Hmmm look out people I have money and I am not afraid to use it... (snaps...Icey is not here to come with me )

Awww my 3 yr old nephew came over this morning...so cute...looks exactly the same as my husband... he is soooo cute... we hang out making some sugar cookies, which he ate most of... (hehehe none for my husband hehehe)... I could not believe he actually came to my house by himself (well he does live on my street but still) he pulled on my heart strings by coming by himself saying Tata Hiiiniyyyyya (LOL)

Nothing new here. Same ol same ol, except I overslept this morning. Ahh, to finally get enough sleep!

I overslept too!! Felt good, though I missed suhoor so now I'm staaaahvin'!!

Minnesota Muslims have an odd tradition of going to the mall of america for eid I haven't been there yet (on eid, been there tons of times otherwise), so looks like we're heading out this year for the amusement park after the prayers. Weeeeeeee roller coasters!

I actually do better without suhr Husband usually comes in with a glass of water about 15 minutes before fajr and wakes me up to drink a little, but he was sleeping too. He's usually a night owl and goes to bed after I leave for work, but not today I guess.

My darling man has been calling to wake me for suhour so I don't sleep thru and miss it! So, I get the call abt 4:45, go make a meal, eat, pray/meditate, check vj/email, then I go back to sleep inch'allah. I got to sleep from abt 6-8am today! woohooo.... Hope everyone's doing well. Good luck on that new job Sarah- whatcha doing?

Hello everyone! What a long weekend. I had a lot of fun on Saturday. I helped out at the town festival for work and watched kids jump on a moon bounce for 4 hours. Sunday I slept most of the day, went to Makkah Market to get some food to break fast, and cooked lamb, crepes, and potatos all afternoon. Monday I slept in until 9 and then I started doing some house work. I worked with Adil for a few hours and then we came home. I cooked more crepes for Adil to take to work for when he breaks fast, and I watched movies all evening.

Now I am back at work and I am feeling crapy again. Adil said he's not feeling well too. I hope we're not coming down with something. Well I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend and have a good day too!

I don't know why I bother attempting to work. I'm much more productive after iftar. . . I'm sooo useless right now!

Husband's birthday is coming up, so I'm trying to find the recipe for the ice cream pumpkin pie I made last Thanksgiving. I'm getting close to drooling.

I'm going to make pumpkin pie, cheese cake and mashi for his bday. I'm really good at the desserts, but cross your fingers on the mashi.

Congratulations on the new job... I hate the fact that I missed so much of the new develpments ...I hope that you enjoy what you do...

Things are well...but to tell you the truth Sarah, I never imagined that being married is such hard work...sometimes I just want my old life back....lol...I love Jamal and I know that we will get thru the tough times as well...My new job gives me so much satisfaction that it is enough to keep me happy...
