if your already in the states then this is the right forum for you to adjust your status if not you might want to check the Foreign Embassy forum cause after it has been to the NVC that is where yours will be off too.... it just goes to the NVC long enough to get a number and is sent onto your consulate for further processing and you will recieve packets with instructions from them.
