Hi all,

For the K1s, what do you have to explain for the PArt 7 of the form? how you qualify for an advance parole document and what circumstances warrant issuance of advance parole?

HELP pls?

Rozytc,

A K1 qualifies for advance parole because they entered as a K1 and now have an application for adjustment of status pending.

Don't know what your circumstances are warranting issuance of advance parole - you haven't said why you might want to leave the USA temporarily. But most any reason for wanting to leave without abandoning your application for adjustment will do.

I knew if I searched long enough (15 minutes so far) I'd find the answer I need & it would be my trusted font of knowledge, Yodrak!

Thanks Y!

Do you still need two 3/4 frontal view photos though? I thought they were all full frontal now?

Yeah, it's been full-frontal-only for the last two years (a good thing, as this is much easier than the 3/4 view they originally used for GC's). But USCIS is not very good about updating forms to current--a good example is the plain-jane I-129 (nonimmigrant worker petition) whose instructions still refer to "TC" (defunct since 1993, and it still not changed to "TN-1").

And for reason, just put in some travel plans outside of US (even if you actually aren't planning to travel).
