Pretty straightforward, same as the pinned threads really but here it is anyway.

Arrived at waterloo and got picadilly line to bonds street station and then walked up the street following the directions on the map they gave us. No need to push the buzzer when i arrived, just pushed the door. Told the lady on the first floor that i had a medical with knightsbridge doctors, she asked me to write my full name and birth date down and then take the elevator to the 2nd floor. Elevator/lift was straight ahead on the right.

When arrived on second floor the receptionist welcomed me and asked for my passport, picture, vaccination record and medical questionnaire. i handed them over, she wrote some things down and then handed me another questionnaire, just a few boxes to tick and a signature. When i handed it back to her at reception she handed back my passport and told me to come with her and change into a gown.

I did so, locked my stuff in a locker and then waited for a nurse. she came out and told me she didn't need to see me because everything was in order (I heard that we needed 2 MMR jabs so i got my 2nd earlier this week from my local NHS Dr.) and handed back my vaccination card. I then waited a minute and a female doctor called me in to her office and asked me some questions, normal disease questions that i had already filled out on the sheet, just confirming.

Then took my weight and height and tested my eye sight and then did other normal medical check stuff, blood pressure, breathing stuff and that. Dr was really nice, really friendly, very chatty. Then took a blood test and told me that no news is good news and that if i dont hear from them everything is fine and they will have sent it to the embassy. She also asked me if i had had chicken pox and checked that off. Then i left her room and waited outside the X-ray room for my chest x-ray. longest part of the whole thing actually.

When i went it i had to stand in a some what awkward position in front of the xray, hands on my back, flat against the x-ray. she took it, checked it was ok and then said i was all done.

I paid the receptionist and changed and was on my way.

My appointment was at 3:30, got there at 3:20, was out by 3:50. no time at all!!! kicking.gif

come on packet 4 and interview!!!!! biggrin.gif
