My husband had his interview on 9/11 and his medical the same day.

The interview was fine, they said they'd approve us pending a satisfactory medical.

At the medical the physician told my husband she'd need a letter about his depression.

We faxed the requested letter to the doctor on Friday of last week. We were told at that time that they would contact us if they required anything further, otherwise they would send his medical results to the embassy.

Today the embassy's courier service attempted to deliver a package. They were supposed to give us 24 hours notice but the phone number they had for us was incorrect. They can't redeliver until Friday.

Should we assume the worst or the best?

That's what I'm hoping. They wouldn't tell me anything over the phone except who the package was from. wacko.gif

I think you should assume the best! Because the doctor said they would contact you if they needed anything further and your package is from the embassy, not the doctor. The doctors office probably forwarded the medical after they received your letter and the embassy is now getting your visa to you!! Try emailing or phoning the embassy.

Bah, it's so hard to get an answer out of them; we'll know Friday, I think I can wait until then!

*agrees*

I think you would have been contacted by letter too if it was bad news, not by a courier delivery service.

Maybe it's a pie.
