hey all,

Quick question. If i ask sign in to save my password will it not let me log in on another computer? I have my desktop saved to let me sign in automatically when i get on the webpage. When I try to sign in on my laptop however it tells me that I am not a registered user. It says my username doesn't exist. Is this because i'm already signed in on another computer?

When you save your password you're basically storing it in a cookie on that computer. You can have a cookie on as many computers as you want, but you'll have to resign in for the first time to make a new cookie.

I have no idea why you'd get a username doesn't exist error, though, are you sure you're spelling it right? No caps lock key on, or anything? You should be able to sign in on your laptop and tell it to remember your password, and it should keep you signed in on the laptop. It shouldn't affect your home PC at all, because I'm logged in currently on both my PC and my laptop as I type this.

I figured it out. I didn't realize my username wasn't the same as my display name. Ha. I'm real smart like that sometimes!
