Hi everyone, I'm kinda new here and just need some help. I'm about to file my petition (with my husband of course) to lift my conditional status on my residency and just wondering how to organize my documents or what kind of folder should I use to make it more presentable?

Any input will be greatly appreciated.

I just sent my I-751 out at the beginning of September, and I put the cover letter on the top, then the Form I-751, and then all the accompanying documents in the order that I mentioned them in the cover letter.

I attached the check to the cover letter in the upper left hand corner.

The whole package was held together by a big binder clip at the top.

I have not received my NOA yet, but my check cleared the bank 11 days after I mailed the package.

Smile!

I used an acco clip to bind everything on the top with tabs, and a loose cover letter.

Ditto here.
Put financial stuff with financial stuff etc
I used a yellow highlighter to pick out the relevant parts on busy documents. Stapled like pages together (pages 1, 2 & 3 of a statement etc).
Big ole bulldog clip at the top and buh-bye. smile.gif

Below is a copy of the transmittal letter we sent, which lists everything we enclosed.

Everything was in a white 3-ring binder, one of those with the clear plastic sleeve on the front. We inserted a title sheet there with my husband's name, alien registration number, the date, and the words "I-751 Petition To Remove The Conditions of Residence". (Okay, I admit it - I also put little American flag stickers all over it.)

Every item was in its own plastic protector-sleeve, and everything was in the binder in the order it was listed in the letter. The headings in the letter ("General", "Identification", etc.) were how we labeled the index tabs.
