Hello all,

My interview is in about 2 1/2 weeks and we're just organizing and putting all the documents together to go with the I-134. We already have the letter from his employer and a letter from his bank, and we were wondering if it was imperative that we also include his latest income tax return? i.e. does Vancouver specifically ask for this too even though you already have two out of three documents? (instructions say to attach two or more documents).

Any input will be much appreciated!

Thanks,

AJ

I would say yes (rather be safe than sorry) but I can't say whether Vancouver asks for them specifically.

Yes .. Vancouver asks you for it specifically when they take your documents the first time they call you to the window .... Now here is the thing... Vancouver told us to bring three years of taxes here is a quote from the email they sent me:
( Along with I-134, your fiancé is required to complete OF-167 form, included in your packet, also we are enclosing a copy with this email and he must provide his employment letter, bank statements and last three years tax returns. If any additional information is required, consular officer will advise you on the day of your interview. Thank you)
When she asked for it she only asked for the most recent one ...... i said " don't you want all three ? " .. and i was told if the person looking over the paperwork wanted to see them she would call me and ask for them .. they did not ask to see them in the end ... Vancouver is great @ returning emails fast .. if you have any questions about their specific requirements you really should email them directly ! Good Luck star_smile.gif

I would assume that tax returns are always required when proof of income is requested. Include them; better safe than sorry.

I would give them the returns or transcripts, they asked for mine. They said that it proves what is written on the income line of the I-134. Good Luck!
