I was also approved on Sept 18, 2006 and have gotten the same response as you when calling the NVS. The letter said 2-4 week and is now close to two weeks. I'm planning on emailing them in the middle of the week this coming week.

It took 21 days for my case to reach the NVC after approval. CSC has been very slowly sending out approvals to NVC and/or NVC has been very slow to put them in their system and forward to the consulate. Your best bet is to send NVC an email requesting status (I think it's more up to date than the operators since they don't put the K1s in the system fast) and give it 4 full weeks.

Approved 9/11 and mine is not received either. I think this is the CSC giving us the last screw.

I was just going to write that it seems the live operator's computers are not very up to date with information being how when most people email the NVS they have much better results.

it took them 26 days to inform us (after we sent them inquiry emails) that they have assigned us a case number and sent the petition to the Embassy in Manila... rose.gif

The message I have been getting from a live person as of today was either we haven't received it or we haven't had enough time to input your approval into our system. (got this from two different live people).

The people who check the emails for the NVS must have a lot more access to information regarding everyone's cases.

I think you guys are jumping the gun...

I was approved on 9/7 and NVC does not have my case yet. It looks like it is going to take 1 month plus for this $hit.

I got you beat, we were reaffirmed (approved a second time) on 8/30, and it still isn't there. The first time around it only took 2 weeks! It appears that they don't have a system there, just grab the top of the pile and say "good enough, the others can wait".

The NVC received our paperwork about this time last year from the USCIS. If I remember correctly, it took 1 to 2 weeks for them to get it into the computer. Now I am still waiting for security checks to clear so they will forward it to the Embassy. Thats right, the NVC has had our case for 1 year with no progress. Now thats some "fun" waiting! Hope you all have better luck than we have!

I took me exactly 4 weeks.

The good news is, once it gets to NVC, it moves along really quickly!

Just spoke to an operator at NVC. My case has been received by them. A case no. has been assigned. Now I am hoping that it will soon be dispatched to New Delhi......

Nice to hear you got a case number last night.. I am waiting for a case number to be assigned and like you waiting for my package to get sent to the US embassy in New Delhi!!

I still have 2.5 weeks of waiting as to the NVS 2-4 process time, and it seems the NVS is taking about 3.5 weeks!!

AKS,

We (our fiance/fiancee) might be doing interview at New Delhi around the same time. We can exchange info to help understand the whole process, if you like.

By the way, in your timeline why have you entered Armenia as your consulate?

Ours was approved on the 15th, and still nothing. I am giving it the full 25-30 days, counting working days only, before I get too anxious. I still send e-mails though all of the time. I figure it can't hurt!

Lord, please bless us all with patience and ease as we continue through this process.

Have you thought about talking to your senator, hiring a lawyer, or trying to get help . That is just crazy sounding to me! What is going on there? Have you inquired with anyone about this? A YEAR??? I am so sorry for you. Do you have any idea why it has taken so long? What makes your case so different? That is ridiculous, and I am so sorry! I will keep you all in my prayers! ohmy.gif blink.gif huh.gif
