Hello I just wanted to say hi to everyone and introduce myself. My name is Carolyn and I live in Missouri. I met Anghel online on October 28, 2005 and after talking for several months I knew that I wanted to marry him. I am flying to Romania on February 13, 2007 so that we can get married. I have gotten mixed reactions when I tell people about it. Most of my family and friends are supportive of it so that is helpful. The question that I got from most of them is.... How do you know your marriage will even work if you haven't met in person?......My answer is - I have to take the chance because if I don't I will end up regretting not giving it a chance. I don't want to be wondering 20 years down the road... What if?...I just know he's a really great guy and I love him a lot. Once I starting really thinking about the possibility of marriage, I asked my sister for the email address of a friend of hers that I knew had married a man from overseas. That was Amal and she directed me to VJ back in March. This site has a ton of great information. I also think it is really great that there is a place you can go and ask questions and advice from people who have already gone through this or are going through this at the same time you yourself are. So anyways I'm happy to be here.
