David doesn't have a printer, so I sent him blank copies of each form, plus the example forms from VJ, so he had everything filled out and ready to transfer to the forms that can with packet 3.
One can do a lot ahead of time... you will need time to gather what you'll need for the I-134.

Montreal prefers you don't do that, some VJ'ers have reported that when at the visa interviews, the clerk was not pleased when presented with downloaded forms. I personally printed off the forms and did a practise run filling them out, so when my packet 3 arrived, I could fill them out confidently and send it back the next day.
And yes, mine came regular mail in a white envelope.
