To keep myself busy I called the NVC today and the automated system says our case is complete!!! I suppose this is good. I still have not received the RFE that was sent last week.
A little confusing, no?

I will say that when I was going thru the final stages at NVC I called and the automated line said I had missing or incomplete paperwork. I was so upset and hung up and called and stayed on hold forever to talk to a live operator. When I explained to her that the automated line had said missing or incomplete documents she LOL at me and said I was fine. She said the DS-230 went to another office and it was showing up in the auto system as missing but indeed my case was completed and would be shipped to the embassy in a few weeks.

Not sure if this what happened in your case but call them and talk to a live operator if you need clarification. Good luck.

You guys are correct. I got to talk to an operator this afternoon and everything is complete and should be at the embassy soon.

Hopefully before the K3 interview October 12! I will call and warn the embassy.

Congratulations! It seems that your CR-1 interview will supersede your K-3. As you said, you can inform the Embassy about it and they will probably cancel the K-3 interview for CR-1. Good Luck.
