Our I-129f was received in Nebraska on Thursday September 21, 2006 ... I'm curious how long before we receive anything in order to track our case?
Reba
check the processing timelines on the USCIS website for that service centre.

I wnet through Texas rather than Nebraska, but like me, you will be transfered to CSC. See my timeline in teh signature line. Everyone is different, but my NOA1 came in the mail long before the check was cashed.

Sometimes it takes 3-4 weeks to receive the NOA1 so don't worry just yet.

The problem is that this service centre does not show for I-129f as apparently they are being sent elsewhere?

On the back of the check that you wrote, and they cashed, is your case number. It usually starts with 3 letters and then about 10 numbers. If you have that on the back of your check you can go to the USCIS Home Page and enter it in and it will show you the progress of your case. If you register, you can have them send you email updates everytime your case goes to the next level.

Here's the link: http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis

Hope that helps. Ken
