It is often taking 2-3 weeks (or more) for CSC NOA2's to get to NVC. I think you and I still have some time to kill.

As Tom stated, right now it's typical, it could be a little while, hang in there

I'm still waiting from September 6. I just read that ivasquez got approved on August 31 and got a letter from NVC dated September 22 so it looks like 3+ weeks at minimum right now. Hang tight!

Tom,

Did your petition get forwarded to CSC after NSC? If not, it will be interesting to see if you get a NVC case number before all of us CSC'ers. Wishing you all the best!

Congrats!!

Nice to see some one who filed with the Texas service center get their NVC number so quick. I got approved on Sept 16th from the TSC so hopefully like you I will get my NVC case number just as quick.

We got approved on 9-11 but no NVC case number yet. We have called the NVC several times and last time a lady told us they have received a whole bunch of cases from CSC and we shouldn´t worry. The lady told us our case for sure will get transfered to the embassy in Frankfurt/Germany until October 10th. Not sure what made her saying that but well, we hope she was right.
So the waiting goes on and on and on......
Good Luck

I got approved on 9/8 but still nothing...

Approved on September 6 - in and out of NVC today. I think it's better to email than call - operators don't seem to have updated information since they don't enter K1s in their system. I got an email response in 24 hours with case number. Took 21 days total from CSC to NVC.

Congratulations kitkat1!

I have had better luck with operators than email. I think it depends on who is busier. I don't think it hurts to do both!

Just spoke to the NVC and got a nice lady on the phone who was in a good mood. I asked her how many approved cases do you receive in a day? She told me from 10 cases on a single day to as much as 40,000 if it is coming in Bulk. She also said that most likely we have your case at the NVc, but it just takes us a while to get into the system..

On a nice note If one used the TSC, VSC, or NVC centers your case will be send directly from those centers and not come from the CSC center.

Hopefully this lady at the NVC didn't just give out BS over the phone!!

AKS,

Is your receipt no. WAC..... or SAC...? Are you saying that your K1 application was NOT transferred to CSC? Many of us who filed 129f with TSC were transferred to CSC even before NSC started transferring them to CSC. I thought only CSC and VSC are processing K1 petitions these days......
AKS
Mine was most likely also transfered to the CSC center. I guess some of the intformation the lady gave out to me over the phone at 11:35 am est time was not totally correct!!

NVC deals with all immigration petitions, so she may not even know that K1 filed with TSC are handled by CSC. They receive from all centers....

Thanks for clarification! I am hopeful that our K1 petitions are going to be processed at NVC within a week. We were most probably one of the thousands of cases they receiveed last week. It will be sometime before they finish entering this lot...
