Just curious. Does NVC enter and update the case # of K1 approved petitions Monday-Friday in it's computer system? The question really means if a person were to call on any given day, could they hope to get an answer (by phone). Or does NVC only update once or twice a week, so only on a given day each week would you have a chance to get an answer (by phone).

based on a report of a tour taken by some lawyers through NVC in 2004, it appears they enter data daily.. and that there is even a shared data system which allows the service centers to transmit some information electronically [prior to the physical file getting there]. I cannot say if this still occurs.
The NVC stage is so quick that you should almost be done with NVC by now.... barring any name check delays...

I think that it's not NVC that takes long to do stuff, but the service centers to forward the cases to NVC. I think they send stuff in batches and it may take a few weeks.
