I have noticed a few posts which state that Montreal wants you to use their own forms. Is this stated somewhere in the documents they sent or is this info garnered from experience? I am a bit concerned as we have a lawyer (pre VJ when we had more money than sense! They are currently more stress than help-but that is another thread) and they are filling out the forms and emailing them to me to print off and send. Does anyone see this as a potential problem?

Perhaps another K1 (Montreal) could give the dates on the bottoms of Package 3 forms. Then you could compare them with what your lawyer sends, just to put your mind at rest.

For what it's worth, here's what came for K3:

Checklist - Page 1 - Updated 03/03/06, Page 2 - Updated 12/08/05
I-134 (Rev. 06/17/04)N
DS-230 Part 1 - 07-2004
DS- 156 - 02-2003

Thanks Jersey Girl,

My electronic forms have nothing on the bottom, though the same info in the top right corner. The lawyer has instructed me to fill the empty box in the right hand corner with a big "K"...lol tres professional looking smile.gif

I should have just filled in the forms myself, as it is I have lost 3 days waiting for them to fill in and correct, recorrect etc the data, and now I'm sweating about the actual piece of paper it's on!! This entire process is crazy making!

Stay calm, kiddo, everything will turn out fine. There's no such thing as "losing days," because nothing's guaranteed (time-wise, that is) and there are "delays" on our parts as well as theirs. Yes, it's crazy-making for us all, but just put one foot in front of the other. Fill in the forms and draw your great big K. (Mine had a giant K3 printed in the top left.) Listen to some zen music. And remember what stressed-out maniacs we were waiting for NOA2's!

This is garnered from experience. Some people reported that the clerk they dealt with were not pleased that downloaded forms were used and not the ones sent in the packet, but they still accepted the forms. I wouldn't worry too much about it now, just be prepared to explain in case they ask. smile.gif

Thanks guys...the forms are done and being sent off today-whew! Now I can move on to another item on my fret list wink.gif

The Clerk in Montreal that I dealt with didn't care. I had filled out the ones they sent and the latest ones from USCIS and filled them both out then asked which one she wanted. She said either one would do. But I gave her the ones they sent.

That's good to know. I can't imagine why it would be an issue, it is all the same information.
