We sent back the checklist and DS-230 Part 1. But there was no Part 2 in the package. Is this something we fill out at the Embassy? Or should I call them and ask?

However, there was no DS-156K, either. Is that because the immigrant is a spouse and not a finace?

I just got my packet 3 yesterday, and had a look for the DS-156K and you are right it is a fiance visa application, so presumably you won't need it and I have no part 2 either...

I don't know why they are so keen for you to use their forms...some of mine look like pretty crap photocopies!

No part II.. it's for an immigrant visa only...

and yes.. a DS-156K is only for a K1 visa...

I had the same in my packet - only the first part of the DS-230 and the DS156. No part II and no DS156K.

Mine, also, looked like a really crummy photocopy. There were no bar codes on it or anything really distinguishing it from the same form from another source.

I printed a DS-230 off of the Internet, found it was identical to the photocopy Montreal sent (except for the printed "K", which we wrote in), and filled my DS-230 out online and printed it out.

We got an interview, so I assume the form was okay.
