Hi folks,

OK, so before I moved here I bought a Freetalk VoIP box, and when Sondra and I moved in here we also bought a Vonage box for our US landline.

It was all working great, and we loved having "the Scottish phone" and "the American phone"! They even had different rings! kicking.gif

Now they've gone and confused me - Vonage have bought out Freetalk in the UK, and are offering free calls from their US service to any UK landline! You can even buy a UK "virtual number" with their US sevice for $4.99 a month extra.

The stupid part is that it costs exactly the same to do it either way now - I can have one bill from Vonage US for our US landline, UK virtual number and free calls to back home, all for about $30 a month.

Or, I can have 2 bills - one for "the Scottish phone" at £8/month and one for the "American phone" for $14.99 a month.

Either way, it's just the same amount!! Why did they have to go and give me CHOICES?! laughing.gif

Anyway, anyone else in the same position? What are you doing about it?!

Oh, incidentally, Vonage have already said I can keep my UK Vonage number if I move it to the US service! *d'oh!*
