Erik
Hey you folks that have already gotten the Bank Letter to support your I-134's, how did you have the Bank write out the letter? or how did the Bank write out the letter?

I know it needs to have date opened, last year of deposits, and current balance, but is that all it had as long as it is on Bank Letterhead etc?

I'm curious to know how the bank wrote up the document for you.

Thanks! good.gif

My bank wrote the letter on their letterhead and summarized the values in a table format. They also attached the statements they printed to support their summary.

Ours was very simple and just said:

To Whom It May Concern:

Joe Smith has a checking and savings account with us, which he opened on Jan. 1, 2003. The total number of deposits in the last year totalled $xxxxxx. The current balance of the checking account is $xxxxx and the current balance of the savings account is $xxxxxx.

If you require any further information, please feel free to call.

Sincerely,

xxxxxxxx

This letter was on the bank letterhead and our bank prepared the letter while we waited, at no charge.

Good luck.

Erik
Excellent everyone, exactly what I was wondering. I'll be visting a bank branch next week, and wasn't sure.

Thanks good.gif
