I suspect that most everybody here is new, and doesnt remember our case but I thought I would just let you know that I finally got to send my hubby's DS230 back to NVC last week.

This means that we should have our interview (again) in a couple of weeks and we get to submit a whole brand new waiver.

I expect the waiver to take until spring next year to be decided, almost exactly 3 years since I got
married. let's hope this one isn't denied or we will have to start the whole process over again!!!

It is just sick that they make you wait 6 months for a yes/no answer. There is no excuse for it. After 3 years they have checked your husband many times through all of the computer databases. There is no reason that you should not have an answer within a day or 2.
This whole ordeal has nothing to do with national security, or border control. It is just plain meanness on their part. These folks should never have been granted the power that they wield. They should be accountable to somebody.
