Laurel, hi, thank you for answering. I see that your Romanian is improving fast:-) We are a bit worried about the present stage with these delays. Thank you for telling me about scheduling an appointment at the Police. I live in Bucuresti - has he requested this document from the central Police office or from all the districts he lived in? anyway, please tell me this only if you can find out it easily, I can imagine you are under stress too. but everything will be ok and fingers very crossed.

Hi Larisa,
I'll have to ask him where he went and I will let you know. He has lived in sector 6 since he was a little boy so he may have went to that district office. But, I will find out
I've been working on learning Romanian, but it takes a lot of time. Hopefully Florin will help me when he is here. I know a lot of words and can understand a lot, but it really takes practice! Especially the grammar!

It's a beautiful language though and I'm definitely going to keep working at it

Laura, yes, you for sure can pick it up from the embassy. I emailed them and they said to call and make an appointment to pick it up. The problem, like pedsgirl mentioned, is that you have to catch them before they send it, and sometimes they are very quick! But, I'm going to call them tomorrow morning and see if ours is there. I might email them again too, just to make sure. I will let you all know what information I find.
I'm not too stressed just yet...I know we have everything ready and I'm sure Florin will do just fine. I'm just so excited to be near the finish line. I can't wait to see him
Pedsgirl, I'm sure Daniel will get his paperwork soon

I wonder if he can at least get the checklist and turn that back in...that's all they need to schedule his interview (I think...)
