In the guides, it says to get three notarized copies of each I-134, but it does not say to do this anywhere on the I-134. Can anyone who has gone through Montreal tell me if indeed they needed 3 copies? Are the other two for a later stage of the game?

Also - am I correct that I cannot fill out any of the paperwork in advance, simply because Montreal wants you to use what they send you?

AND ... if we are using a co-sponsor - then will they not mind us making copies of the I-134 that they send?

Thanks for your help.

I did the K-3 route we only needed one notarized copy and then made copies for our self in case it's needed for AOS.
Montreal wants you to use there forms.
Yes, You can photocopy there forms.

ALWAYS make photocopies of EVERYTHING you ever give or hand over to USCIS or DOS employees.

For anything for the interview, make copies. Give the interviewer the "original" signed ones, and have 2 copies. One that they may keep, and one for your own files, you may need to reference them later.

Photocopies for your own files do not need to be notarized, only the "original" signed copies that you need to give them.

Thank you both for your responses. Glad to have confirmation that we only need one notarized copy. Yes.. I am the copy queen and plan to walk with plenty of copies when my interview time comes around. Just today we started to put together the accordian file folder and arrange what we have already done.

Getting very excited about things continuing to progress quickly! (fingers crossed)
