Hey,everyone,i just have a quick question here ,as i saw everyone can check their K3 case online, but i can not, why?

Once i entered the case number,it came out by:"Status for this Receipt Number cannot be found at this time in this automated system. Please check your case receipt number to see if it is correct. If you have questions or concerns about your case status, please contact the service center where you submitted your application"

We called and asked our lawyer before,he said USICS will not update the case status this often,so...But still---its good to check our own case status online everyday if we can. I can check our 130 approved online too,but why not I-129? Is anyone know why? Thanks a lot~

Hi Yuan, don't worry about not being able to track your petition online. It takes a while to be able to track the 129 form online after you get your NOA1. After we got an approval it took well over 3 weeks to be able to track it. Other fellow K3'rs took a month or so to be able to track the information online. Your lawyer was correct USCIS takes its time to enter your information into the system. All you can do is keep checking every day. But dont worry in a few weeks you should be able to see your progress online. Best wishes on your journy! Congratulations on your 130 approval!

also, the online system is VERY unreliable. I've heard of many many people approved on a variety of applications that their status never updated. My citizenship was approved last week, but the system hasn't updated since my interview letter was mailed out.
