I am Kirk from Montana. I live in a real small town. The internet really opened a whole new world for me.
I met Jenny on line, March 30, 2006. I knew right away there was something special about her. We committed to try a relationship 2 days later.

I visited her in Davao City in June of 2005. As I stepped into the Philippines my life changed. All the tension and stress disappeared. (I am a criminal defense attorney) Beside being in love with Jenny I love the Philippines and the Filipino people. We went to Boracay for a week bringing along her daughter Sophia. Sophia was almost 4 at the time and very social making friends with everyone up and down the beach. I also visited her in October of 2005 and May of 2006.

Jenny was married when I met her, but she had not seen her husband in 4 years. Divorce is illegal in the Philippines so we had to jump through legal hurdles. He was declared presumptively dead in late January of 2006, so we began the visa process at that time. I wish I had known about this site then.

Jenny is going through nursing school in Davao. She hopes to work as a nurse over here. Eventually, we plan to return to the Philippines.

I am glad I discovered the site at the time I was completing my I-129F package to send to the USCIS, the guides and assembly instructions are very useful! I also bought "Fiancé & Marriage Visas: A Couple's Guide to U.S. Immigration" from NOLO also a very helpful law guide>
