Hi friends,

Just wanted to know since my case was approved on 9/5/06 how long will it take for nvc to give a case number and send it to the embassy????

Hiya Bombay...our case was approved on the 24th of August...sent out to Embassy the following week I believe and just found out that it was recieved at Embassy on the 5th of Sept. Now I don't know if the 5th was the date that they finally put it into the system or not...but hope that helps hun...

If I remember correctly, ours was something like 9 days. We've abandoned K3 for CR-1, but that one seems to be taking forever!!!
