Direct Consular filing for us took one month before we were approved

and on our way to the U.S. when we arrived our paperwork that I had filed here in the U.S. were here and they stated they needed more information. Thanks but no thanks. We found that it was also alot cheaper doing a direct consular filing just make sure you have all your paperwork. GOOD LUCK

Thank the gods! I was just wondering what had happened to you...
Hope the children are in better health now and happy to have moms home.

Note: your wife did not get a K-3 visa, she got an immigrant visa and if she is in the US, she is now a Permanent Resident. Her Green Card should be mailed to her within the month.
best wishes!
L'elle, it's Dominican Republic right now that won't accept any DCF, even from residents. I've been told this is contrary to law (when Canada refused it) but who ya gonna call? I think they are having 'issues' in the DR at the moment..
