Hi,
I need advice about flying my sweety to Manila for medical/interview. helpsmilie.gif

Can you tell me the going rate for a round trip from Cebu to Manila and back?
I want to compare the difference in cost of 2 seperate trips.... 1 for medical and one for interview, or if she should stay in a hotel for the week and just take one flight for both.

Then.....
Is there a prefered way of getting her to usa. Hopefully a one way will be cheapet but I hear different stories. blink.gif

What do you say? whistling.gif
Thanks

do you have your interview date already?
other people used to have the medical a week before their interview to save money.
in my case, i took it a month before interview.
you can check these for airfares:

And yes, you only need one way ticket for her.

p.s. I had the same problem before, wether to have my medical as scheduled or to have it during the week of my interview. to save the fare trip as i am from Cebu City.

As soon as interview date was scheduled, i called a cheap small hotel just next to the medical clinic then book 2 days prior to my interview.

I got the first flight on a Tuesday morning and arrived at 5:10 a.m. and headed straight to the clinic for my medical then after i got out from the clinic i headed straight to the hotel. The following day i took the result and Thursday was my interview. And beacause i was very early at the Embassy i got out there right before the check out time whcich is 12 noontime. I headed to the airport and went back home to Cebu City.

P.S. i also was wise enough to reserved the flight ticket as soon i got my interview schedule, i called and reserved a ticket with a specific time. this is only valid if you buy ticket way in advanced with specific date.

No.... no interview yet. In fact I still haven't gotten a NOA1 after almost 2 months. But I like learning and being prepared. thanks for the info and the tip on the flight.
Take care,

I think Cebu Pacific is a good choice too. Plus when it's time to leave they used to have a flight that hooked up with Northwest at the International terminal.

I agree CEBUpacific is the best...you can even do last minute and you end up with the same price....not like here in america if you do last minute they charge you 3 times as much.

Also check all the flights...when i used cebu pacific to fly from manila to kalibo, i found that i save 50% if i went in the morning....also prices can vary alot by day too. So check all flights to get the cheapest one
