Based on another topic going on in OT at the moment, it seems that some people would prefer that OT were free of politcal/religious topics, which tend to get heated. I can understand that. As such, I am considering starting such a board so that people can vent/debate to their heart's delight without having to worry about keeping it "clean" or causing problems at VJ. Moderation would be very minimal, and there would be no advertising.

What do you think? Would it help keep OT more open for other things? Would it cause more problems?

I actually agreed on creating a Divorce forum because it has something to do with immigration, if you divorce an immigrant that is.
But since this is an immigration forum, political and religious debates are off topic... and that's how they should be in my opinion!

And no. I wouldn't post. Tend to avoid those debates. Eat lots of popcorn during some of them though. Starting to get a wee bit 'bound up'....

Ah, you are correct. Guess that's what I get for checking only one source, eh? I re-read it though, and it says that they typically only stay underwater for 1.5 minutes before surfacing, but they CAN stay underwater for 10 minutes. I should have kept reading. lol
