Hi every one,

I have a question, My Wife sent I-864 (Affidavit of Support) to NVC and they receive on 26th July and DS 230 received by NVC on 15th August. I email NVC and ask about the status and they reply me on 1st september was

"Dear Sir,

Form DS-230 for this case was received on August 15, 2006. The expected processing time for the submitted documentation to be reviewed is 2 to 4 weeks. If any additional information is required, the NVC will request the information after this review is completed."


Today on 1st september my wife call NVC and voice message told that they need some more information and a letter already sent on 18th August, but so for nothing received from them.

Why they did not mention in email?

Which one will be correct email reply ore voice message ????
