Jum recently received her EAD appointment letter. The appointment is on Sept. 16th. Her AOS Biometrics appointment letter (scheduled for Sept. 14th) was received 2 days before the EAD appt. letter. Does this make sense, and am I right to think that the EAD appointment will be the time when her EAD card will be issued even just shortly after her biometrics are taken two days prior? Things are moving faster than I thought they would.

Thanks,
C.J.

Hi C.J., I don't have the answer to your question, but I'm writing because your case is very similar to mine. We sent our package last August 13th, and I had my biometrics done today. However, I haven't received my EAD appointment yet. I'm surprised though, as to the fact things seem to be moving so fast. We married on a tourist visa, which we thought would complicate things. But maybe not...anyway, I hope things go weel for you and your wife =)

What is an "EAD Appointment?" No interview is required for EAD - just biometrics.
CJ&Jum
You're correct, I read through the notice, it is for biometrics for the EAD. Just seems strange for her to go for AOS biometrics on Sep 14 and then go Sat. morning Sep 16 for EAD biometrics. Maybe they will let Jum do them all at one time.

Take both letters with you to the first appointment and they will most likely do them both at the same time.....

We will try that and see what they say!

Hi CJ%Jum,

I had the same problem, but I only recieved the EAD appointment letter. In Charlotte at the office (Tyvola Center) they said hey let's do everything now, makes no sense that you have to come twice. So they did all biometrics and stamped the letters. So bring both letters, they will be stamped with biometrics done, quality check for them and such stuff. They will understand that!
Just bring all NOAs and stuff and explain to them that you have two letters right at the front desk. No problem at all! They are very nice and helpful there.

Good luck!

Anna
