I hope this is no big deal, and I hope that by mentioning it now I won't freak anybody out unnecessarily, AND I hope I'm not repeating something that somebody else already posted, but I just checked the processing times page for TSC:

https://egov.immigration.gov/cris/jsps/Processtimes.jsp?SeviceCenter=Texas

...and saw that form I-130 is nowhere to be seen. I checked the other three centers, and saw that Nebraska also has no information for I-130's. What does this mean, exactly? Since I haven't got an NOA-1 yet (too soon), I am of course a little bit concerned. unsure.gif

Probbly they are being sent to CSC like the I-129Fs from TSC.

Your I-130 application via Texas Service Center is now automatically forwarded to the CSC. You have to refer to the CSC chart to find out what is going on, however it is not even worth reading because it is truly not accurate anymore.

Look at my timeline, for example - I am not supposed to be touched for several more months according to the current CSC info (via Texas Service Center) however I was approved yesterday...

Good luck in the process!

Hi, Alice.

Thanks for the heads up on that. I don't usually check that page! I sent my stuff to TSC only about a week before you did, so it looks like we're in the same boat. It's true, we probably got shifted to CSC, but I'm not going to "freak out" just yet. I try to think of it this way ... if they sent forms elsewhere because our service center was too bogged down, then I'm glad they're trying to stay on top of it. I've noticed several instances here of cases being shifted around, and judging from people's time lines it doesn't always necessarily equal a big delay. I'll keep my fingers crossed with you until our NOA-1's surface!

Welcome to VJ! smile.gif

Hi, Brady/Vicky. Your post showed up while I was writing. When did you find out that your case got moved to CSC? Should new TSC applicants update our profiles to state that our service center is California instead of Texas once we have confirmation that this is what happened?

Congratulations on your gorgeous I-130 timeline! I want one just like it! yes.gif yes.gif yes.gif wink.gif

No problem...I figured as much because I hadnt seen your reply just yet.

A while back all the "old" applications out of Texas (and others) got notified that they were being transferred to CSC. However then the process was changed, and now it is standard protocol for it to get transferred, so you are no longer notified - you are to assume it has been done. It will be entered into the system in Texas and then immediately sent to CSC.

You will not receive any confirmation on this...it IS in CSC...dont worry. And no, do not change the timeline because you did apply through Texas, not California. To change to a California timeline would screw up the information highway here I believe (if enough people started doing it).

Thanks for the compliments, BTW! tongue.gif

The only way I knew mine had been transfered from TSC to CSC is because my NOA1 came from CSC. smile.gif

Thanks, everybody. I didn't really think it was a major crisis, but I also didn't know if it was common. I checked the page last week or so and the I-130 was listed, so naturally I was at least curious.

Bradyvicky, thanks for your in-depth response. It made me feel much better. You're a very nice-looking couple. Do you both post here, or just one of you? And Sockmonkey, I see you're seeking a K-3. I'm going for a CR-1, but our time line and the location of our SO's is so similar that I will follow your case with great interest!

Alice...thank you for the feedback, and the compliments! I am just an ugly-mo-fo and Vicky makes us both look good! hahaha It is actually just me (Brad) who posts here because Vicky does not know English just yet, but she practices with the website and several of our "friends" also visit here also!

Good luck in your process!!!!!
