I came home this morning, after working graveyard shift, feeling depressed that we havent heard anything from Casa since the petiton was sent there 8/11. So I emailed them and asked if there was any info on the case. Sent the email at 7:51 am. Received a response at 8:03 am. Abderrazzak has an interview at 8am on September 28th. I am so happy I cant stop crying. I never expected a response so quick. I called him to tell him about the interview and woke him from his nap .... So i am sure that good news is on the way for all of us waiting on something from Casa.

Noura, I was thinking of you this morning after I get the news. I know we share the same date sent to embassy. Please email them and find out your news. ABderrazzak has not yet received anything in the mail from them. That is why I emailed them. I am not as patient as he is. Plus i sent him the photo album of our wedding on Aug 12 and he has not received that either. I am worried about that so I will have it traced. But Noura your good news is there so email them, please. Funny thing is, after i got the resopnse I emailed them back and thanked them. It was a sappy, tearful message that i meant with all my heart. But you know what, they emailed me back and said "we are here to help. You have a great weekend yourself."

I did - right after reading this thread and the other one! Hoping they will respond to me... I don't have a "work" email as I am self-employed. I do have abt 4 email addresses, tho, but I didn't want to confuse them, so I just sent an "as professional as possible" email asking please for our interview date. Inch'allah, we will have news tomorrow! I probably won't sleep, waking every couple of hours to check the darn email now!!!

I wouldnt worry about being too formal.. I said in my letter that I understood the were busy and dealing with a lot of visa and i wasnt trying to be a pain in the rear!!!
The response was so sweet to me and I was shocked cuz we have all read the horror stories about Casa. Let's pray that the interviews are as sweet and painless!! I know that you will be so happy when u receive your reasponse.

Thank you. I hope he gets the photos I mailed him 2 weeks ago. We will be in a world of hurt if he doesn't. I can't wait to see him again. Not trying to nauseate anyone but he has the most beautiful smile.
