Our case was completed on 8/25. The thing is, my hubby just sent in Pkt. 3 for the K3 and has already booked the medical. In light of the completion, we would like to drop the K3.

1) Should he keep his medical? I'm guessing yes. But, does he have to change the case number?

2) Do we notify the Embassy of our decision to give up on the K3? If so, how?

I'm so excited, I can barely think straight. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Has he interview at the consulate and received the visa?

No...not yet. We would rather advance on the CR1 than the K3.

Firstly, a big congrats on case complete

The completed I-130 case will over-ride any K-3 interview scheduled once it arrives at consulate. Hubby will interview for the CR-1 Great feeling aye. Once the case is at the consulate, give them a quick call to confirm.

Does Hubby have more forms to fill in??

Or does those K3 pkt ones suffice!! My hairs went more grey worrying.
