Hi everyone...
I will be having my interview this Sept. 28, 2006 and just received packet 4 from hubby(choiced agent).
It was stated in our Packet 4's document checklist that our financial evidence is incomplete.
As a brief background my husband received two rfes(re affidavit of support form and some missing documents) and submitted the last one on mid-may 2006 but it was stated that our case was completed on April 28, 2006.

My question is, what documents do we have to prepare re "Financial Evidence" for the interview?
I made a list of documents(all originals) below, but I badly need your suggestions, opinions, advice...
1.] New Affidavit of Support (not notarized since it is not a
requirement anymore, am I right?)
2.] New employment certificate from petitioner(as of August, 2006)
3.] Payroll slips(5 quencenas)
4.] ITR(2005)
5.] W2(2005)]
6.] Bank Certificate and Bank Statement(though not
claimed/included in the I-864 form)

Please anyone.... I badly need your help...
Thanks a lot in advance... smile.gif

I thought the new requirement was 6 months of payroll slips? Other than that everything looks okay. Don't forget the checklist that states they want more evidence, we had one of these as well after case approved and it is required to turn in at the embassy with the additional evidence.

Required are copies of past 1-3 years tax returns (1040, 1040A or 1040EZ) copies of W2 forms, and any 1099 forms from past 1-3 years, and past 6 months pay stubs.

Are you using the newest I-864 form, if not download it from USCIS, this form clearly indicates the above requirements.

A further question. Paystubs aren't actually required until the interview, are they?
YuAndDan
The I-864 forms states: Pay stub(s) from most recent s months, and/or a letter from your employer if you beleive any of these items will help you qualify.

So this sounds like pay-stubs and letter from employer are optional. The 1-3 years tax returns are the most important for the case.

So if you dont have the pay stubs going back 6 months then the past few should be OK and a letter from employer can help.

Good luck!
