Hello all,

Need your help NVC says that they sent the file to the embassy on 8-11, how long until my Fiancée receives the packet 3 or any word from the embassy?

Well, our info is a little over a year old, but here it is anyways - Our K-1 was approved beginning of April and sent to Cairo the 24th (I think). He received the packet a month later after TNT (the courier service) couldn't find the post office to deliver it to and had to resend it.

NVC forwarded our case to Cairo on 12-21-05. Mohammed received his packet 3 on 1-3-06.

Do you all think I should email them soon? We havent gotten anything from them. Do they not like getting emails?

It never hurt us to email. They usually got back to us in less than a week, and we emailed them A LOT because of some royal screw ups on their part.

I agree. Email as you like. However there are times they don't respond and I'm really at a loss as to why. My last 7 emails have all gone ignored.

This is a game of patience, especially with the Cairo Embassy. However, I think it never hurts to follow up on things.
