My i-130 was approved and sent to NVS they sent me some forms and asked for a $70 payment
Today i called and the message said my Petition has been sent back to USCIS
is this normal out did we just get screwed ?

We haven't heard of any particular case like your where the I-130 is returned, but I think that the best thing you could do is keep calling the USCIS, or the Texas service center, and even tell your spouse to call the US embassy in Russia and keep yourslef informed about what's going on...

I am a little confused with the dates in your timeline. Can you clarify what has has been approved, sent to NVC etc including dates. I noted also that you have packet 3 dated before the NOA1 for I-129F. You also have K-1 listed under your ID???

Its not the first time I have read of a members petition being recalled to USCIS at this stage. Unfortunately I cannot recall the outcome and we are no longer able to do a search in the archives.
