Hi to everyone. Got my immigrant visa today kicking.gif . Our prayers were answered. After the US embassy here in manila gave us a form 221g because we had to prove my US citizen- husband's domicile. We gave them specific documents that without a doubt proves my husbands domicile. Now we can breathe and relax... the worries are finally over. We will be home and importantly, we will fly together to the US and not have my husband fly off alone just to prove he has domicile!!!!

Were you also asked to submit evidence of US domicile? Well we submitted his valid US driver's License, valid voter's ID in his state of Texas, social security number,mail/letter (even junk mail) as long as his name and address was there, a bank account statement, and letters from his parish and Filipino-american community in texas attesting that he is really a resident there in Texas. included also was his exam permit for the US Medical licensure exam as a proof that he is taking concrete steps so that jhe can be employed in the US. Also we included the notice that we gave our apartment building administrator that we will soon be moving out and another persoin will be responsible for the bills when we move out. Well thats about it. We submitted it in the embassy here in Manila last Aug 17 and by Aug 18th they released my visa. Hope this will help you in anyway. Let me know any upddates goodluck also biggrin.gif
