Hello fellow VJers,

Now that our K-3 is approved and on it's way to NVC, how can I call them and get an update?

I noticed that when I used the 603 phone number for the NVC to check on the status of the I-130 that there was no automated status for the I-129F.

I read somewhere here about how to find out but I cannot find that thread or any information in the helps and guides.

the NVC should send you a letter once they receive the case. in the letter, you'll get a case number and a phone number to call and check up on it.
when you call, there's an automated option, and also, you can speak with an operator to get more updated results.

Well I am going to answer my own question here, I did some research today and found out how to get an update on your I-129F petition once it leaves the USCIS and gpoes to the NVC

Call 603-334-0700

Press 1 for english

wait for promt to go to an inquiry for "K" Visas

You will enter a Que to speak to an operator.

Give you USCIS receipt number or NVC number

they will give you an updated status on your case at NVC
